IT’S A BIG BOLD BEAUTIFUL START TO THE 51st SEASON!
🎠Announcing: Shrek The Musical đźŽ
The first production of Grandstreet Theatre’s 51st Season
Grandstreet Theatre is thrilled to open the curtain on our 51st Season with a show that’s laugh-out-loud funny, full of heart, and proudly a little bit different. Get ready to journey to a swamp far, far away as we launch the season with SHREK THE MUSICAL!
Packed with unforgettable songs, dazzling dance numbers, and a message about embracing who you truly are, Shrek The Musical is the perfect way to step into Grandstreet’s next chapter. It’s bold. It’s joyful. It’s wildly entertaining. And it’s a celebration of community both onstage and off.
We are also thrilled to welcome Dean Marino back to Grandstreet Theatre as the director of Shrek the Musical! Dean is no stranger to our stage—most recently, he brought endless heart and hilarity to audiences as Patrick Star in our production of SpongeBob SquarePants the Musical. His infectious joy, deep love of storytelling, and collaborative spirit made him a favorite both onstage and in the Helena Community.
We are equally excited to welcome Colby Hamann back to Grandstreet Theatre as the choreographer for Shrek the Musical! Colby wowed audiences in last summer’s smash hit Mary Poppins as a featured ensemble member, and we are thrilled to have him return for a second summer.
Rounding out the beginning of our creative team is Liz Adler as Music Director. Liz is no stranger to Grandstreet Theatre, and her heart, leadership, and deep love for this place have helped bring to life some of our most epic and memorable musical moments.
