Lighting and Sound Manager
Grandstreet Theatre is seeking a full-time Lighting & Sound Manager to join its vibrant, community-driven organization in Helena, Montana. This role involves overseeing the creation of lighting and sound elements for Grandstreet’s productions, which include eight annual mainstage shows and various one-night events. Responsibilities include serving as master electrician and sound engineer, designing lighting or sound for up to four shows annually, performing live sound mixing, maintaining technical equipment, and supporting educational programs. Collaboration with staff and volunteers, technical maintenance, and fostering a safe, supportive environment for students are also key aspects of the role. A passion for the performing arts and technical expertise is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least two years of relevant production experience, and proficiency in various technical skills, including sound and lighting design, live sound mixing, and video projection. Additional expertise in scenic painting, prop building, carpentry, and networking systems is preferred. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and working at heights. Designer and Production Roles

Bartenders
We accept applications for Bartenders on a rolling basis. Bartenders manage the concession stand and bar for Grandstreet Theatre performances, providing smooth and speedy service to patrons. This is a shift-based position scheduled based on availability. Applicants should be available for at least two shifts per production for the current season.
