GUYS AND DOLLS JR. & SIX THE MUSICAL: TEEN EDITION AUDITION INFORMATION
Auditions for TWO Shows on the Same Day!
Grandstreet Theatre will hold auditions on March 2nd and 3rd for:
Guys and Dolls, Jr.
SIX: Teen Edition
Actors may audition for one or both productions, provided they meet the age requirements.
Grandstreet Theatre proudly supports young actors of all ethnicities and abilities.
Guys and Dolls, Jr.
Ages: 10–18
Please note: roles for ages 10–12 are limited.
We are seeking:
A company of 28 actors
Audition Preparation:
~Ages 10–11: Follow the Fold
~Ages 12–13: Guys and Dolls
~Ages 14–18: Choose one of the following:
– I’ll Know
– The Oldest Established
– Guys and Dolls
Vocal guides and accompaniment tracks can be found in the Google Drive folder (linked in the
audition materials).
SIX: Teen Edition
Ages: 14–18 only
We are seeking:
~ 6 principal actors
~ 3 understudies
Audition Preparation:
Please choose one song from SIX: Teen Edition to perform.
Sheet music, script and rehearsal tracks are available here .
Rehearsals & Conflicts (Both Shows)
Rehearsals for both productions begin March 16th
~Please fill out the audition form and include all conflicts from March 16 through May
22nd
~No rehearsals will be held March 27 – April 5
No conflicts will be accepted during the following periods:
– Guys and Dolls, Jr.: May 25 – May 28
– SIX: Teen Edition: June 1 – June 3
Performance Dates
Guys and Dolls, Jr.:
~ May 29, 30, 31
~June 6, 7, 13, 14
(Evening performances at 7:30 PM where applicable)
If you have conflicts on these dates, please do not audition for Guys and Dolls, Jr.
SIX: Teen Edition:
~ June 4–7 (evenings)
~June 10, 12–14 (evenings)
If you have conflicts on these dates, please do not audition for SIX: Teen Edition.
How to Audition
1. Complete the Audition Form/Conflict Sheet
2. You will then be guided to an audition sign-up
3. Pick your audition song and rehearse it until you can’t get it wrong
