By: Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss
Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the mic to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a Euphoric Celebration of 21st-century girl power! This new original musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over.
SIX: TEEN EDITION includes all songs from the original version, with reimagined lines and lyrics to minimize suggestive language and alternate line changes to reframe UK references for a US audience.
This production runs approx. 80 minutes WITH NO INTERMISSION
Be advised, this production is in the style of a pop concert so there are flashing and dramatic lights, water based haze, and loud music.
SIX: TEEN EDITION is presented by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals. www.concordtheatricals.com
SIX: Teen Edition is designed for a broad audience and contains themes that may prompt meaningful conversations between young people and the adults in their lives. Parents and guardians are encouraged to exercise their own discretion when determining whether the show is appropriate for younger audience members.
