Harry Witherspoon : Brandon Taylor

Brandon is so excited to be in this show! He has a BA in Musical Theatre from Chico State and teaches musical theatre and dance at Grandstreet Theatre School. Previous Grandstreet credits include Jesus in Godspell, Billy Cane in Bright Star, and Flotsam/Seagull in The Little Mermaid. Brandon sends a huge thank you to Jeff, Syd, this amazing cast and crew, his family for all their support, and Anna for making him smile.

Annabel Glick: Mackenzie Jones

Mackenzie Jones (Annabel Glick, she/her) is originally from Kansas City, MO and has lived in Helena since 2019. She works at DPHHS on the Montana Disability and Health Program. Mackenzie was most recently seen as Mrs. Cratchet/Ghost of Christmas Past in Jeff Downing’s magical rendition of A Christmas Carol. Other Grandstreet credits include Miss Honey in MATILDA THE MUSICAL, Lucy Grant in BRIGHT STAR, and Accountant/Newsie in NEWSIES THE MUSICAL. Mackenzie thanks this cast for daily laughter, the director team for their unwavering support, and the community for celebrating live theater! Follow me @macnzjones.

Rita LaPorta: Whitney Dorr

Whitney is honored and delighted to return to the Grandstreet Theatre stage! You may recently have seen her in The Play That Goes Wrong as Chris/The Inspector, in PUFFS as Hannah, in RENT as Joanne, and several other shows around town. When she’s not on stage or on air with The Montana Radio Company, she’s hanging with her biggest fans: her husband and her three amazing kids. She thanks them every day for choosing to love her through funny voices, show tunes, and random movie quotes. She encourages you to find the silly in every day- because we need silly. Thanks for coming and for supporting the arts!

Luigi Gaudi: Carlton Ryker

Born and raised in Kansas, Carlton graduated with a BA in Musical Theatre from Wichita State University.  Carlton is extremely excited to return to the Grandstreet Theatre stage once again. Past credits include roles such as; Jimmy Ray in Bright Star, Max in The Play that Goes Wrong, Curtis in Sister Act, Bud in Bridges of Madison County, Bill in Mamma Mia, and The Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors.

Uncle Anthony: Kevin Skaalure

Kevin has shared the stage with great people in this and other fun shows:  The Play That Goes Wrong, The Sound of Music, Murder on the Orient Express, and The Book of Will. He thanks his wife Kristi for her continued encouragement and support.

Ensemble 1 : Molly Severtson

Lucky Stiff will be Molly’s (she/her) fifth production with Grandstreet and fifth “Jeff show!” She previously appeared in the ensembles of Bright Star and She Loves Me (concert version), and as Mrs. Fezziwig in the past two productions of A Christmas Carol. Molly is the mom of three amazing daughters, all of whom are about to graduate from college. She and Eric have been married for nearly 30 years and enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, kayaking, spending time in wild places, and visiting their daughters in Missoula, Seattle, and Chicago. Molly works as the Executive Director of Mountain Health Gives where she runs the Little Peeps program, which provides vision care to kids in need. She dedicates this show to her mom, again, for showing her how to both work hard and have fun as a performer.

Ensemble 1 : Sarah Aydlett

Lucky Stiff marks Sarah’s third onstage appearance here at Grandstreet (Matilda ‘22, Beehive ‘92). Behind the scenes, she has designed a handful of GST productions beginning with A Christmas Carol (‘90) and most recently, A Little Mermaid (‘23).  Sarah received her theatre training from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (BFA ‘87) and the Pennsylvania State University (MFA’97). In 2009 she returned to Helena  to set down roots with her family; graduating from Carroll College (BSN’13) she is currently a practicing RN for St. Peter’s Health. 

Ensemble 2 : Madelyn Sechrist

Madelyn Sechrist is proud to be making her Grandstreet debut. She works in theater regularly as the assistant drama coach at Helena High School. Recently directed productions include The Importance of Being Earnest (2025) and Cut (2024). Madelyn also frequently performs puppetry, including performances with the Puppet Slam in Helena. Thanks Mom and Roger, and to the drama students at Helena High for being her inspiration.

Ensemble 3- Dominique DuMonaco: Ashtyn Reiners

Ashtyn is thrilled to return to Grandstreet Theatre as Dominique du Monaco/ensemble in Lucky Stiff! Some of her favorite previous Grandstreet credits include Allana in The Little Mermaid (Grandstreet Summer Theatre) and Margo in Bright Star (Grandstreet Theatre). She has also been seen onstage playing Cinderella in Cinderella at Carroll College Theatre. Most recently, she spent the summer performing at Priscilla Beach Theatre in Plymouth, Massachusetts, where she played Margot in Legally Blonde and ensemble/dancer in Spamalot. A recent Carroll College graduate with a degree in Secondary English Education and a minor in Theatre, Ashtyn is grateful to be on the Grandstreet stage again. She would like to thank her amazing family, her supportive friends, the phenomenal cast and crew, and Kaden<3 for their love and support. Enjoy the show!

Ensemble 3- Dominique DuMonaco: Jen Jenkins

Jen Jenkins, a local public school teacher and proud mom of two young GST actors, is excited to be back on the Grandstreet stage in this lively comedy and share some laughs! Last on stage as Alice in Brightstar, Jen has also played a variety of ensemble roles in Bridges of Madison County, The Full Monty, and Into the Woods. Thanks to GST, Jeff and the Lucky Stiff team for this comedic outlet. Biggest love to John and the kids. Thank you everyone for supporting community theater!

Ensemble 4: Tabitha Southworth

Tabitha is originally from Hesperia, CA, but has called Helena home for the last eighteen years. She received her Bachelor’s degrees in Theatre and Sociology-Criminology with a Fine Arts minor from Carroll College. She has recently been seen at Grandstreet in A Christmas Carol, The Woman in Black, Bright Star, and The Marvelous Wonderettes. Other credits include Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar and Donkey in Shrek: The Musical. Tabitha would like to thank her incredible family and friends for their unwavering support and encouragement.

Ensemble 4: Hailey Elwood

Hailey is so excited to be back for her 3rd show at Grandstreet! She most recently played Irene/Mrs. Hudson/Cartwright in Moriarty and was in the ensemble of Newsies last summer. Born and raised in Glasgow, she spent many summers on the Fort Peck Theatre stage, and later became part of the theatre community in Missoula. Past favorites include Sophie in Mamma Mia (FPST and MCT), Terk in Tarzan (FPST), and Leslie in American Idiot (U of M). She would like to thank her husband, Dawes, for being so supportive and for being an amazing dad to their toddler, Maisie.

Ensemble 5 : Hunter Townsend

Hunter is excited and grateful to be involved in his second production with Grand Street Theatre! Most recently Hunter played Dr Nordquist/Ensemble in GST’s beautiful and harmonious Bright Star. Other past roles include Eddie in Blood Brothers and Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Missoula Children’s Theatre where he lived prior to moving to Helena (waaay back when). Hunter is very fortunate to have 2 beautiful and talented girls, Alice and Emily, that are currently active in GST. Finally Cecily, his ever supportive and loving partner, who has to put up with a total of 3 “Theatre kids”!! Thank you all for your support!

Ensemble 5: Phil Bartruff

Phil had his first experience on the Grandstreet stage in the 80’s. His favorite role was Fagan in Oliver. More recently he played King Triton in The Little Mermaid, Mayor in Bright Star, Mr Krabs in SpondeBob the Musical and Max Detweiler in The Sound of Music. Phil wants to thank Hays, Lang and Macaul for always supporting him.

Ensemble 7: Skylar Shields

Skylar Shields (Ensemble, He/They) was born and raised here in Helena, Montana. This will mark his Eighth production with Grandstreet, starting in 2019 to now in 2025 both on stage and backstage. He is currently the EVS Supervisor at St. Pete’s Hospital. Other roles include: Fred; “A Christmas Carol” (Grandstreet Theatre), John Brooke; “Little Women” (Carroll College), Grover Underwood; “The Lightning Thief” (Carroll College), Billy Cane(US) & Ensemble; “Brightstar” (Grandstreet Theatre), and J. Finch; “Puffs” (Grandstreet Theatre). They would like to thank their parents for their support and Syd for all of her love. 

Ensemble 8 : Kanen Craig

Kanen Craig (ensemble 8) has had blast working with the Lucky Stiff cast. He is so grateful to be part of Grandstreet Theatre- beginning in 3rd grade summer camp and visiting (almost) every summer as a child. Growing up in a military family Kanen moved around the globe from South Korea to the Bay Area CA, To Richmond VA, and moving permanently to Helena last year. He has participated in several artistic opportunities on and off the stage. Some recent and favorite roles include: tech crew, A Christmas Carol; Laurie, Little Women; Mr. Mayor, Seussical The Musical, ASM Newsies!; Modern Major General, Pirates of Penzance; and Foley Artist in The 39 Steps. Kanen plays Ukulele, Banjo, and the Harmonica, and loves to volunteer around Helena with his Papa and Jack Oberweiser. Kanen would like to thank Jeff Downing, and Grandstreet Theatre for making the most amazing theatre magic.
