Grandstreet Theatre Announces Danielle Wineman as New Managing Director

Grandstreet Theatre is proud to announce that Danielle Wineman has been officially named Managing Director! Danielle has been part of the Grandstreet family for years—most recently serving as our Director of Marketing and Sponsorships, and stepping in as Interim Managing Director in November 2024. After a thoughtful and thorough review process, the Board of Directors, led by President Hope Morrison, is thrilled to make her appointment permanent.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Danielle as our new Managing Director,” said Morrison. “Her energy, creativity, and deep commitment to Grandstreet’s mission make her the perfect person to lead us into our 50th season and beyond.”
Danielle’s connection to Grandstreet goes way back. Originally from Cut Bank, Montana, she first stepped onto the Grandstreet stage in 2008 in The Secret Garden. “That summer changed my life,” Danielle shared. “I’ve loved walking through these doors ever since.”
Danielle brings a wide range of experience to the role, both onstage and behind the scenes. She holds a BFA in Acting from Stephens College and an MFA from UC San Diego. As Director of Marketing and Sponsorships, she helped grow our audience and strengthen our ties with the community. And during her time as Interim Managing Director, she guided us through a pivotal period with focus and heart.
“It’s an absolute honor to lead the theatre that helped shape who I am,” Danielle said. “I’m grateful for the trust of the board and staff, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead.”
As we gear up to celebrate our milestone 50th season, we couldn’t be more excited to have Danielle at the helm—bringing her passion, leadership, and love for Grandstreet into this exciting new chapter.
