Samples are self-collected under supervision using either anterior nasal swabs or saliva collection tubes.
We will test each participant weekly on your designated day Monday – Thursday at 3:30pm.
The tests of choice are the RT-PCR tests that are currently FDA-Approved for the detection of COVID-19.
All tests being supported by the MCC are FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) tests. The FDA-authorized tests are specific to the COVID-19 virus and have a sensitivity range from 1800-6025 NDU/mL (NAAT Detectable Units/mL).
Test Results will either be Detected, Not Detected or Inconclusive. Individual test results will be available within 24 -48 hours from the time the samples are shipped to the lab.
Grandstreet will not know of your results unless you choose to share them with us. The MCC and affiliated labs keep records. A Detected (Positive) result will also be reported to the local public health authorities as required by law.
If you or a child in your care tests positive for Covid-19, we ask that you please share this information with the theatre staff or management as soon as possible. If you have concerns about privacy we can take steps to address confidentiality. This will allow Grandstreet staff to take the necessary precautions to limit further infection in our community. We also ask that you follow the guidance of our local health department. More info here…
