Grandstreet Theatre School Scholarship Application NOW OPEN

Grandstreet Theatre School is excited to offer scholarship opportunities for current students in grades 2-12! Each spring, students have the chance to audition in front of professional adjudicators for a variety of scholarships that support their artistic growth. Scholarships are available for Grandstreet programs such as Conservatory, JTF, Summer Theatre School, and next year’s Session 1, as well as for non-Grandstreet arts camps and training. High school seniors can also apply for scholarships ranging from $400-$1500 to use toward the college or university of their choice.

To be eligible, students must be enrolled in Sessions 2 & 3 in 2025 and must complete the audition form. Live auditions will be held on May 3, 2025, with an option to submit a video audition by May 1, 2025, for those unavailable in person. Meet our 2025 Adjudicators

Christie Jeter

Christie Jeter is the founding director of the Jeter Backyard Theater in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She’s been training young people to achieve their performance goals for more than 30 years. Christie graduated from the Berklee College of Music as a Performance Scholar with degrees in Music Education and Composition. Highest honors include appointment to the Governor’s School for the Arts, recipient of the Freddie G. Fellowship, and Chair of the Broadway Enrichment Collective in association with the Broadway Education Alliance. Christie created “JBT Kids Helping Kids” to serve her community and help students gain a sense of agency and self-confidence in their ability to positively impact the lives of others. Former students enjoy careers on Broadway, in film, and productive lives as empathetic human beings.

Benji Cosgrove

Benji Cosgrove was born and raised in Helena. He’s currently the Executive Director of The Myrna Loy. Benji has been involved with The Myrna since 2005, with stints as the Tech Director and Film Programmer. He earned his MFA in Media Arts from the University of Montana where he wrote and directed a number of shorts as well as the program’s first feature-length film. He has written several screenplays for Hollywood studios and production companies — including Deadbeat Dad, which was translated into Portuguese and released in Brazil by Universal Pictures. In his spare time, Benji enjoys spending time with his family, playing the guitar, coaching fantasy football, and encouraging people to learn Portuguese.

Jeff Hall

Jeff is a Project Manager for Disney Live Entertainment, the theatrical production division of Walt Disney Imagineering, serving the company’s theme parks, resorts, and cruise ships. This follows 32 years directing the nationally recognized theatre program at Jesuit High School in Portland, OR and several years touring the Western United States and Canada as a teaching artist. Jeff currently serves on the National Board for the Educational Theatre Association, where he received the Hall of Fame Award in 2016.
