Audience Services Coordinator

Grandstreet Theatre is currently accepting applications for two Audience Services Coordinator positions. The Audience Services Coordinator(s) are crucial members of the Grandstreet Theatre team, and lead Grandstreet in providing a safe and welcoming environment for patrons and volunteers during performances and special events. This is a part-time position that primarily works in the evening and on weekends during shows.

Bartenders

We accept applications for Bartenders on a rolling basis. Bartenders manage the concession stand and bar for Grandstreet Theatre performances, providing smooth and speedy service to patrons. This is a shift-based position scheduled based on availability. Applicants should be available for at least two shifts per production for the current season.

Designers and Production Roles

Grandstreet Theatre is always seeking talented designers and technicians to work on our mainstage production season. We offer a wide range of productions including plays and musicals for community members of all ages. As a member of our production team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a passionate and talented group of artists and performers. Technical Internship

Part Time to Full Time

Compensation: D.O.E.  weekly stipend and housing provided

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Experience in at least one (preferably more) of the following areas:
    • Scenic Construction
    • Scenic Painting
    • Live Sound Mixing
    • Sound Design
    • Theatrical Lighting
    • Costume Construction
  • Additional proficiency in Windows and/or Macintosh operating systems and with Google Calendars, Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Self starter with excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to maintain a consistent schedule, manage priorities and workflow

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reports to the Technical Director. Responsible for assisting and leading construction projects possibly including but not limited to carpentry, welding, prop construction, painting organization and building maintenance.

Artistic Internship

Part Time to Full Time

Compensation: D.O.E.  weekly stipend and housing provided

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Sewing and/or Painting skills
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Additional proficiency in Windows and/or Macintosh operating systems and with Google Calendars, Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic
  • Must understand the importance of Downton Abbey

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reports to the Artistic Director. Responsible for assisting in the daily Artistic Office tasks including clerical work, planning, scenic painting, costume construction and costume organization.

Marketing Internship

Part Time to Full Time

Compensation: D.O.E.  weekly stipend and housing provided

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Marketing and/or Public Relations experience
  • Graphic Design (Adobe pref.) skill helpful
  • A working knowledge of theatre preferred (Dramaturgs welcome!)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Geek-level computer and social media skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A good sense of humor is required

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reports to the Director of Possibility. Responsible for implementing key aspects of our Marketing Plan potentially including but not limited to social media posts, photography, graphic design, dramaturgy, public relations, videography and video editing.

About Grandstreet

Grandstreet is Montana’s premiere community theatre with over 45 years of continuous service. Sustained by volunteers from an exceptionally talented population, Grandstreet also trains over 400 K-12 students each year in our nationally recognized Grandstreet Theatre School. Each year we produce 8-10 plays and musicals in a beautifully preserved 200-seat turn-of-the-century Romanesque granite church.
