In this class, we’ll discover how movement can tell stories just as powerfully as words! Through games, improvisation, and creative exercises inspired by the Laban/Bartenieff movement approach, you’ll explore how emotions, characters, and ideas live in your body.

We’ll play with rhythm, shape, and space to find new ways to express yourself on stage —whether you’re building a character or just learning to move with more confidence and freedom.

Ilgaz Ulusoy Casey has worked in theatre since 2006, exploring how movement and voice bring stories to life. She has worked in international performance projects across Europe and now leads creative theatre and movement workshops for kids and adults in the U.S. and abroad. She holds a master’s degree in Cultural Studies and is a Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst.

Class will be held in the lower studio.
