Phil Bartruff
(Sheriff Earl) Graduated with a BFA from UNK to pursue an acting career. Spent a couple of years in Helena acting at Grandstreet in the mid-80’s. Moved to LA where he began working his way toward the leading role of Dad in a show called Family. The show toured from LA to Washington D.C where his dream finally came true. He was cast in the role of Dad. Family went from D.C. to Atlanta where the show had a lengthy run before making a stop in Cincinnati. After more than 20 years he continues to perform that role, never really certain how well he’s doing. The performances seem to have their ups and downs. He finally found himself back in Helena where he is reprising the role of actor while doing his best to maintain and grow in his role as Dad. Thanks to Hays, Lang and Macaul.
