Elsie Ambrose, originally from New Orleans, is a freshman at CHS and is thrilled to be part of her first summer show at Grandstreet. With an extensive ballet background from Queen City Ballet, she danced many roles, including Clara in the Nutcracker. Her passion lies in musical theatre and she loves being part of the Grandstreet family. Her Grandstreet shows include Matilda and Frozen Jr. Thanks Mom and Dad!
Phil is happy to be part of this summers GST shows. Having graduated from college (a long time ago) with a BFA in theatre, this reminds him why that was his degree of choice. Brandon Burchard is 22 years old and from Hollister, California. He has recently received his BA in Musical Theatre from California State University, Chico. Along with Grandstreet Theatre, he has also performed professionally with Legacy Stage and Clinton Showboat. Some of his past roles include Jack in Into the Woods, Johnny in American Idiot, and Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show. He would like to thank his family and professors for their support.
Keelin Connolly is thrilled to be a part of another magical Grandstreet production! A senior at CHS, she is the secretary of Grandstreet’s Student Advisory Board, a theatre school student, and participates in theatre at Capital. Favorite credits include Weselton in Frozen Jr., Red Ruth/Mrs. Crossley in Treasure Island, and ensemble in Sister Act. “Thanks to my family (GST and biological), crazy friends, and Torrey for keeping me sane.”
Cecily Dowd is a rising musical theatre senior at Webster University in St. Louis. Stoked to be back at Grandstreet, as she previously played a dream role, Katherine in Newsies, and was Ali in Mamma Mia!. Riley Ford is very excited for her role in Freaky Friday. She was recently seen on the Grandstreet stage as the housekeeper in Frozen Jr and the ensemble of Footloose. Riley participated in her fourth year of the Junior Theater Festival as an ensemble member in The Little Mermaid Jr. and is a rising junior in Grandstreet’s Theatre School. She would like to thank Marianne for pushing her to her limits; and her family for always supporting her no matter what.
Elsie Harrington loves Grandstreet summers! A senior at HHS, her past summer productions include Sister Act and Newsies. Other favorite Grandstreet credits include Frozen Jr. (Elsa), Treasure Island (Israel Hands), and Matilda. At Grandstreet, she is co-president of the Student Advisory Board (with her twin Tara!), takes classes, and assistant-teaches a 5th-and-6th-grade class. She also works at Bloom Montessori School and is Board Chair of Montana Youth Action. “Thanks to Marianne Adams for everything, ever!”
Cadence is super excited to be a part of Freaky Friday. Her favorite credits thus far have been Willy Wonka, Wildwood, and Frozen JR. Cadence is a rising sophomore at Capital High School. She enjoys running cross country and spending time with her dogs. She thanks those who continue to inspire her and those who support this incredible community theatre.
Faith Johnson was born and raised in Helena, MT. She is a Grandstreet Alum, class of 2018, and started when she was four years old. She has been in many Grandstreet shows including, Annie, Cry Baby the Musical, My Fair Lady, and Billy Elliot. Faith has also done multiple shows at Carroll College Flex Theatre, including Ariel in The Little Mermaid, and Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown! She would like to thank Grandstreet and her parents for all of their support over the years and is excited to be in yet another amazing summer show.
Kate Loble is so excited to participating in another Grandstreet Theater summer stock show before she heads off to Long Island University to pursue a BFA Musical Theater degree in the fall. Every time Kate is onstage, playing Pumbaa in The Lion King Jr., or Joan the Goat in Treasure Island, she is always having fun. In her free time, Kate also enjoys anything outside, her sister, being sarcastic and trying to steal the Krabby Patty Secret Formula
Kyli May is a sophomore at Helena High School, and she is thrilled to be playing in Freaky Friday! Her most recent roles include Olaf in Frozen Jr. and ensemble in Footloose. Kyli is excited to get back on the Grandstreet stage and thankful for her friends and family for always supporting her.
Annie Menden is thrilled to be in her first summer show at Grandstreet! Annie is a rising junior at Helena High School, and her recent credits include Flotsam in The Little Mermaid Jr., Ensemble/Sven Understudy in Frozen Jr., and Grandma Josephine in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. She would like to thank her family, friends, and the Grandstreet community.
Anna Milburn is from Helena, Montana and has grown up at Grandstreet Theatre, where she has most recently been seen in The Bridges of Madison County, My Fair Lady, and She Loves Me. An alum of Carroll College, Anna also works with the Carroll Theatre Department as an Adjunct Professor of Musical Theatre Auditioning. Benjamin Misplon is so excited to return home again to his favorite place, the Grandstreet stage. Benjamin received his BFA in Musical Theatre from Western Illinois University and now lives in St, Louis Missouri. Benjamin’s favorite roles include; Joey in Sister Act, Prentiss in Peter and the Starcatcher, and Hanschen in Spring Awakening. Ben would like to thank his friends and family for their support!
Carlton Ryker is an actor based in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Kansas, he graduated with a BA in Musical Theatre from Wichita State University. Carlton is extremely excited to return to Grandstreet and Helena, MT for his third summer in a row. Past credits include roles such as; Curtis in Sister Act, Bud in Bridges of Madison County, Bill in Mamma Mia, and The Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors.(Psalm 3:30)
Reese Sheldahl is very excited to be working with Grandstreet Theatre again! Appearing on the GST stage in Treasure Island and Sister Act. Recently graduated from Capital High School, where he was apart of many productions such as The Music Man, Figaro, and Moon Over Buffalo, Reese is looking forward to able to share the stories of Freaky Friday and The Sound of Music. “Many thanks to my family and supportive teachers!”
Skylar Shields is excited to be involved in another Grandstreet Production. The roles he is most proud of include: Puffs as J. Finch Fletchly, Dr. Bartholo in Figaro, and Reverend Jeremiah Brown in Inherit the Wind. Live theatre is a large part of his and he hopes to continue his pursuit in a theatrical career. Will is thrilled to be a part of the cast of Freaky Friday. He loves the opportunities and community of Grandstreet Theatre and refers to it as his second family. He has been involved in Grandstreet theatre for four years including, theater school, Junior Theatre Festival, and several productions. Recent roles include, Bruce in Matilda, Linus in A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Septimus in Wildwood. Will would like to thank Marianne Adams, and his big family for all their support.
Emma Templeton is thrilled to be spending this summer at Grandstreet! Recent credits include Footloose, Mamma Mia and Treasure Island (Squire). Emma is planning to study theatre as a rising college Freshman and is beyond excited to make a career out of something she so dearly loves! Lacey Tucker is thrilled to be in Helena for the summer. A New York-based actor, she was most recently seen in readings of the new musicals 57 Bus and My Father’s Play. Regionally, favorite roles include Martha in The Secret Garden, Doatsey Mae in The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, and Theresa in Italian American Reconciliation. Jacqline Wright is thrilled to be a part of her first Grandstreet production! She is a Sophomore BFA Music Theatre student with a double minor in Dance and Arts Administration. She adores spending time by Lake Superior when she’s home in Duluth, MN. Favorite credits include Helene in Sweet Charity, Bottom in Midsummer, and Ethel Toffelmier in The Music Man. Kendall Skoog is delighted to bring his passion to Freaky Friday! Kendall is a student at The University of Montana studying lighting design and stage management.
