Briar Bell is thrilled to be returning to the Grandstreet Conservatory Program for Footloose! Her most recent performance was as Mrs. Gloop in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. She is excited to kick off her final year in Helena as a Senior at St. Andrew School. She would like to dedicate this performance to her Dad, Nick Bell, as a tribute to the life he lived and as a thank you for introducing her to the world of theatre.
Cullen Blaise this is Cullen’s first year involved at Grandstreet, and he’s loving every second! His favorite role (so far) has been Dennis from All Shook Up! Other shows include: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and The Book of Will. He’s looking forward to a great summer season, where everybody can “Cut Footloose!”
Maddie Cormier is a proud Grandstreet Alum and Helena native currently working as a Nanny in Portland, OR. Words can’t express how elated she is to be back at her favorite place on earth! You may remember her from some of her favorite productions like Next To Normal, Ragtime, Shrek the Musical, and Into the Woods; although all of her experiences on this stage are cherished. Mary Linn Crouse: ages-ago Theater graduate of S.I.U. Carbondale and a Chicago-based actor before “retiring” to Montana. She had a small role in the film Ted K to be released later this year. Lysa Fox returns to her Helena summer home for year #12! Lysa is the Head of Musical Theatre at Western Illinois University where she directed productions of Working and Pippin this past school year. She’s just arrived from directing and choreographing Grease! at Tent Theatre in Springfield, MO. This year, she will be directing productions of First Date, The Spitfire Grill, and Damn Yankees in Illinois and Indiana. Favorite Grandstreet productions include: Falsettos, Ragtime, Hairspray, Into the Woods, Always, Patsy Cline and last years’ Mamma Mia!
Aase Hahn looks forward to returning to the Grandstreet stage after performing as a female Newsie in Newsies during her time as a Grandstreet Conservatory student this summer. Other Grandstreet credits include: Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Tessie in Annie, and the Little Girl in Ragtime. Aase would like to thank her family for their constant love and support.
Kev Hamm has been in the Grandstreet productions of Avenue Q, Next Fall, Les Misérables, The Addams’ Family Musical, A Christmas Carol, Tarzan, The SantaLand Diaries, and Newsies. He produces videos at Studio19 and tries to change the world at Treasure State Internet & Telegraph and fix technology at Auxilyum. He’s a founding member of Cow Tipping Comedy, and performs regularly from September to May. Thanks to mom, dad, and my family for all the love and support.
Lauren Hanson, a rising senior at Capital High, is beyond excited to be spending another summer with her Grandstreet family. Lauren would like the amazing cast and crew of Footloose, her family and friends, and her sister Liliana for always making her smile.
Tara Harrington is thrilled to be in another show at Grandstreet. A junior at HHS, Tara has been doing Grandstreet since age three. Favorite Grandstreet credits include George Badger in Treasure Island, a newsie in Newsies, and Marty in Madagascar Jr. When not onstage, Tara assistant teaches Grandstreet’s kindergarten through second grade classes. She thanks her sister for the rides, her dad for the jokes, her mom for the hugs, and her dog.
Emily Hilliard is from Havre, MT and currently works as a school counselor for the Helena School District. She received her B.A. in psychology from Carroll College and her M.Ed. from Montana State. You may have recently seen her on the Grandstreet stage as Killigrew the Kind in Treasure Island. Other Grandstreet productions include Cabaret, Legally Blonde, and Les Misérables. Emily is excited to be spending her summer at Grandstreet Theatre and would like to thank her friends and family.

Pat Lougee is ecstatic to be making his debut performance at Grand Street in Footloose. He owns North Star Contractors and when he isn’t building something he is writing and playing music. He’s founding member of Cow Tipping Comedy and Improve Mining Company. Rachel Martorana is a Grandstreet Alum and a 2018 graduate of Helena High. She was recently in Grandstreet’s production of The Bridges of Madison County as Carolyn; and last summer she performed as Ike in Newsies. Outside of Grandstreet, Rachel has done quite a few Helena High shows, including one that she co-wrote and co-directed with Corrina Asher called Romeo and Juliet…Kinda. Rachel is honored and excited to be part of this production.
Kyli May is a freshman at Helena High School. She is delighted to be returning to the Grandstreet stage in Footloose after being cast as Small Alison Bechdel in Fun Home, Sally in Cat in the Hat, and Leslie in Sideways Stories from Wayside School. Kyli is super excited to be playing in her first summer show and thanks to her family and friends for all the love and support.
Jessie Maye hailsfrom Raleigh, NC and is a proud alum of Ball State University. Ben Misplon just graduated from Western Illinois University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. He is happy to return to the Grandstreet stage before moving to St Louis in the fall. Gabriel Murphy is beyond grateful to be back at Grandstreet for his 7th summer season, his first being way back in 2008! Gabriel trained with Webster Conservatory and the British American Drama Academy and lives in Minneapolis. Gabriel has worked with the Kentucky Repertory Theatre, Great River Shakespeare Festival, Jungle Theatre, Park Square Theatre, and Theater Latte Da, among others. Abby Nyhof is a born-and-bred Michigander who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Hope College and a Master’s degree in Education from Montana State University. Abby works as an elementary music teacher here in Helena, Montana. She has filled many roles at Grandstreet, appearing as Kate Monster in Avenue Q, Gingy in Shrek, as well as directing Ordinary Days. She would like to thank her husband Phil for being her biggest fan and supporter.
Joseph Oliveri is super stoked to be performing in his first regional production in a show that means so much to him! California born and Michigan raised, but he’ll be back at Webster University in St. Louis in the fall as a sophomore musical theatre major. Go Gorloks!
Claire Peterson is delighted to be back on the Grandstreet stage. You may have seen her recently as Mary in It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, expedition crew in Tarzan, or a protester in Rock of Ages. Claire is currently in college at the University of Montana where she is double majoring in acting and psychology.
Brodrick Ryans is from Tuscaloosa, AL but currently living in Portland, OR. Some of his past credits include; Oscar Delancey in Newsies, Carmen Ghia in The Producers, Mitch In Spelling Bee, Dreamgirls and The Wiz. Carlton Ryker is ready to rock out on the Grandstreet stage once again! Born and raised in Wichita, KS, Carlton moved to Helena, MT shortly after appearing on the Grandstreet Theatre stage last summer in Mamma Mia (Bill), and Newsies (Snyder). Since then he has been heavily involved with the Grandstreet stage appearing in the productions of Silent Sky (Peter), and most recently, Bridges of Madison County (Bud). She owns her own Interior Design business Teakinteriors here in Helena. Her favorite Grandstreet roles include; Rosie in Mamma Mia, The Witch in Into the Woods, Paulette in Legally Blonde, Louise in Always, Patsy Cline, and Diana in Next to Normal. Aaron Lloyd Pomeroy is a dancer and choreographer originally from San Diego, California, and is thrilled to be back in Montana after choreographing last summer’s Newsiesand Mamma Mia. Some of Aaron’s favorite performance credits include Spamalot, Funny Girl, Oklahoma, Phantom, 42nd Street, Never Gonna Dance, Beauty and the Beast and On Your Toes. Aaron was also a company member with The San Diego Ballet, performing as a soloist, and danced across America with The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. A dance competition choreographer, master class instructor and adjudicator, Aaron currently is on faculty at Oklahoma City University and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater from San Diego State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University.
Elizabeth Anne Adler is originally from Santa Barbara, CA, trained as a classical piano soloist and theatre major. After many years of working as a professional wardrobe assistant and quick-change dresser in Southern California and Las Vegas, Elizabeth moved to Kimberley, BC, and became co-owner and musical director of Turner & Adler Productions. Elizabeth and her family now call Helena home. A few of her favorite shows that she has been in or backstage for are Little Shop of Horrors, La Cage Aux Folles, Gypsy, I Love You You’re Perfect Now Change and Cabaret. Footloose is her third show with Grandstreet Theatre and she is grateful to get to enjoy her passion for live theatre and how it can help shape a stronger community.
Jadyn Velazquez is a scenic designer, currently living in Missoula, MT, where she received her MFA in scenic design from the University of Montana. Her interest in design, started with scenic painting and branched out into ornamental metal work and has merged into shadow boxes, window displays, and painting.
