Tommy’s life seems cursed: Trapped in a run-down seaside resort. Saddled with a frightening family. Worst of all, he grows up deaf, dumb and blind. But put him in front of a pinball machine, and stand back! But is Tommy ready for super-stardom?

Grandstreet’s 2009-10 Season kicks off with Peter Townshend’s tale of a young boy’s journey from pain to triumph, “the most electrifying evening of rock and roll ever to play in a theatre.” The Summer Conservatory brings The Who’s rock opera to life. Directed by Barry James. Choreography by Lysa Fox.
