A wickedly funny play about a group of teenage misfits that brilliantly captures the limbo-land between late adolescence and adulthood.
Three teenagers in Salem, Oregon discover they are linked by a scandal that has rocked their town. When one of them sets out to expose the truth, secrets become currency, the stakes get higher and the trio’s connection grows stronger. Playwright Stephen Karam gives us a hilarious and poignant view of the dangers of cyberspace and the roller coaster ride that is high school in this fiercely funny dark comedy. Speech and Debate is intended for mature audiences.
