ABOUT THE SHOW
This international smash hit may be the most popular musical in the world. In nineteenth century France, Jean Valjean is released from 19 years of unjust imprisonment, but finds nothing in store for him but mistrust and mistreatment. Epic, grand and uplifting, Valjean’s struggle for redemption is set against the Paris student uprising of 1832 and packs an emotional wallop that has thrilled audiences all over the world. With a lush and sweeping score, the sung-through pop opera is a powerful affirmation of the human spirit and has made Les Miserables a popular masterpiece.
You only need to attend one night of auditions. For questions, more information about the script, or audition tips please contact Jeff Downing, Artistic Director at 442-4270 or email [email protected]
